In the spring of 1988, I graduated from Canfield High School in Canfield, Ohio. That fall, I started at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, studying in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. I graduated in May of 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.
While participating in intershps and cooperative education assignments as part of my undergraduate degree, I took classes at the Cuyahoga Community College, Villanova University, The Ohio State University, Florida A & M University, and The Univeristy of New Mexico.
After graduating with my BS, I enrolled at the University of Maryland Baltimore County as a special student while working at the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center.
In the fall of 1995, I started my graduate studies at the University of Marlyland at College Park, graduating in 1999 with a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering.
